Directions #	From the entrance gate on Ruta 239 there is a dirt road of about 1.1km down to the park centre.

I visited this national park in March, during the dry season. In the rainy season, the water can of course look quite different than in the video.

• * The entrance fee applies to persons who are neither locals nor have a residence permit (Residenz).
• # How to get there: Ruta 136 and 316 from Turrúcares are not recommended. It is best to take Ruta 239 in the direction of Santiago de Puriscal, from the Ciudad Colón exit on Ruta 27. But be careful: About 13km before the entrance gate of the national park, the road changes from asphalt to gravel! (see video)
